    Even though I’m mentally ill, I didn’t develop ADHD until a concussion in my thirties caused it to surface or damaged my executive functions. Research in the April 2015 Journal of Psychiatric Research describes ADHD and brain injuries in “The association between traumatic brain injury and ADHD.”

      I had no idea that there was a connection between ADHD and brain injuries. Thank you for sharing that Sue.

    Your article prompted me into checking symptoms of ADHD.
    Questioners provided by ADHD sites confirmed that there is a strong possibility, that I have been affected by ADHD since my childhood.
    Of course, back then, I was labeled as a “problem child”, and in my teens as “troublemaker”.
    Go figure.
